In 2021, Zhujiang Brewery achieves certain results in new, green, environmental friendly and portable packaging materials .

Nansha Zhujiang Brewery experimented to use adhesive instead of plastic film in stacking. Using adhesive can effectively reduce the demand of plastic packaging materials. We found that products with adhesive are stably stacked and barely surface damage. Using adhesive can save 37% of the cost of packaging materials as well. We will continue to carry out stacking adhesive in future.

Glass bottle manufacturing is a high energy consumption industry. The thicker the bottle, the more energy consumes. For this purpose, Nansha Zhujiang Brewery uses 680ml and 275ml light weight bottles for bottled beer. Compared with the original, the amount of glass in 680mL light weight bottle is reduced by 19.64%. Under the premise of ensuring safety and product quality, the amount of glass is effectively reduced, which achieves energy saving and consumption reduction.

Hunan Zhujiang Brewery uses non-woven portable cartons for can packaging. The handle of the carton uses naturally degradable non-woven fabric, which is portable and environmental friendly. Consumers can experience a new kind of portable packaging form with this new and green packaging form.
